When I first revisited the Pilot Episode of ER, I was amazed by the realism. Being a nurse myself, the filming crew of ER had it exactly right. The feel, the weighing sleepy tension - just like we experienced in the real ER.
I fell in love with the series all over again. Here is what is available for now.

I love the series, the first few seasons were the best. I really enjoy any medical show or movie like GA or ER but TLC and Discovery Health really has some wonderful shows in this field.

Most of my favorite episodes were in the first 4 years. Many of my friends and coworkers were on the TLC Trauma and ER programs. It is fun to reminisce and be entertained at the same time. LOL, I can remember working 7pm to 7am in an ER in Denver, taking a break for lunch watching ER then going back to the ER to work. It messed with your mind a bit but it was helpful: Actors, showing us and the public what we are like and what we go through. Sometimes you take stock in what you do and how you do it. I'd have to say, medical shows allow us see ourselves in a different light, good and bad and help us to make positive changes. Anthony Flight for Life program.

Yes, children, some days it really is just like it is on ER. This is why we do what we do. ER, when it gets really, really intense.
Enjoy, then ask yourself, "Is this where I want to be when I punch the clock?"
